Photo Booth Props: What We Bring, What’s Trending, and When You Don’t Need Them
Props can make a photo booth way more fun — but they’re not always necessary. Some events already have the vibe built in (Halloween is the perfect example), while others need a curated set that fits the crowd (church events, school events, corporate events, etc.).
Here’s how we handle props, what we typically bring, and how custom props work if you want something specific.
What we normally include
We bring a clean, themed prop set that works for most events and doesn’t feel cheap or random. Think “photo-ready” props that look good in prints and don’t overwhelm the booth area.

If your event has a specific theme, we’ll tailor what we put out.
When you don’t need props (and it’s still a great booth)
Some events don’t need props at all — and that’s totally fine.
A perfect example is Halloween. We’ve done Halloween parties where no props were requested because guests already showed up dressed up with their own “props,” and the photos looked better without extra stuff on the table.
If your guests are already bringing the energy (costumes, themed outfits, uniforms, etc.), we can keep the setup clean and let the photos speak for themselves.
Church events and family-friendly setups
At certain events, clients prefer we avoid specific prop phrases or styles. We’re used to that.
We always check in with the client (or coordinator) before we put props out. If you want things more family-friendly, more formal, or more conservative, we’ll adjust the prop selection so it matches your event.
We keep props current (and we update them when trends change)
We like staying current with what people actually want to use right now. If something starts trending, we’ll get new props made so your booth doesn’t feel outdated.
For example, at a recent esports tournament we had multiple “67” style props because that trend was popular, and guests immediately recognized it and used it.
Custom props are available
If you want props made specifically for your event theme, names, school, or inside jokes, we can do custom props for an additional cost.
